Great place to stay, but don't tell to many as it is good, I stayed on the western side and it is quite. The breakfast is continental but you have a good choice. The rooms are small, but with all the facilities that one requires. The service is good and the staff are very helpful. You can get a car park but i would suggest you book to make sure as there are only about ten, It is central as you have 2 rail stations one 5 minutes (Redfern) and the other (Central) 10 min. walk. For the fitness tragic there is a limited gym, but enough to get you by. - 02-Aug-2009 The Hotel is located in a rather run down area of the city, but if you walk from the Redfern Station to this hotel, its a short walk. The hotel its self had very small room, but this was expected from a Y. The hotel has a nice BBQ facility on the roof, and you can make your own meal.
Overall, very good for the price- 10-Jan-2007 Although the hotel is located in a less desirable area of Sydney, and as a female travelling solo, I felt quite safe walking to the hotel from both Central and Redfern railway stations during the day, but would not do so at night. I felt very secure at the hotel and had a comfortable stay. The continental breakfast which was included was plentiful to start the day. Reception personnel were always helpful.- 13-Dec-2006 |
