 We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We managed to park our hire car just down the road in a public parking facility which was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and obliging to us which made our stay a relaxing one. It is in the old section of Beaune and walking distance to the town, restaurants and general town siteseeing. The Saturday markets start in the hotels street which was a bonus. It was very quiet in our room and very comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel for its location, restfullnes and friendly staff (although some mornings our bed was not made properly and little things like replacing toilet paper or tissues were not done -cleaners oversight). We did not like the smoking allowed in the lounge area although we have been told that smoking in banned in all public areas from Jan 08 (which is great news!).- 04-Nov-2007 Apart from an excellent position (2 min walk to historical centre), this hotel was a major disappointment. We paid a low room rate and got what we paid for. The room was very small, outdated and extremely hot - no air conditioning.
If you want an excellent position this is the place but don't expect much more.
Recommend as a 2 star hotel not 3 star.
