 clean and central but a little cramped- 04-Nov-2009 A basic hotel at a fair price, quiet, clean & functional, conveniently located 7-8 minutes walk from the Bugis MTR station, 30 mins walk from Marina Bay.- 02-Feb-2009 The Hotel was in a good location for the City Centre and easy to find, though would be a problem if we had a car. The staff were friendly and efficient. Value for money for a city centre was good. However, the Hotel was a little "dated" by European standards and may have to raise its game when the competition opens across the road. Only real complaints were:
1. The room was quite stuffy as the windows were sealed shut. When we arrived it actually smelled quite bad and took about an hour with the air conditioning to get it something like.
2. (Minor complaint) The "allowance" of tea and coffee is a bit stingy by most hotel standards, others just leave as much as you need. You had to pay for a second cup here !
These are minor and we did not make these complaints known at the time. In general we were happy enough though might choose a different one if we go to Singapore again.- 18-Jan-2009 |
