 This place is nice enough for the money I paid. I would suggest ringing the hotel to request a twin as you get a bigger refurbished room with a double and single. It is a handy location for beumont hospital. However they do charge €5 for car parking and are supposed to have free internet but it did not work while we were there which was disappointing. The tv was badly positioned and hard to see from the bed also the bathroom was not clean enough along with the carpet. On the plus side the bed was really comfy and I did get a great nights sleep!- 17-Oct-2009 Hi Folks had a pleasant 3 night break at the Skylon. Hotel is in the middle of redecoration. Stayed here before and fortunate enough to get a refurbished room, this time not so fortunate but never less great value 99e for 3 night stay for 2 people.....where would you get it.1.60 euro into centre ,buses every 5 Min's .- 14-Jun-2009 We stayed at the Skylon hotel for 2 nights while seeing Westlife at Croke Park, it was a really nice hotel, and within walking distance to Croke Park and a short bus ride to the city centre.
