 If you are about to leave Stockholm early in the morning, or arrive at Stockholm late in the afternoon, on the Silja Line [using your railpass] this is the Hotel for you. The walkway access to the Hotel is a 'branch line' from the access walkway to the Ferry Terminal. - 20-Aug-2004 Splendid location with impressive views over the water. Particularly liked watching all the port traffic while having a meal. Easy well sign posted access to underground and hence the city centre.- 21-Sep-2003 When arriving at a hotel for the first time you never know what to expect. The Scandic Hotel Ariadne was no exception.The hotel itself by far exceeded all my expectations. The view from our room in sky class was stunning. The food was excellent as was our entire stay.
It's just under 10 minute walk to the nearest station (Gardet) which, once there is only about a 5 minute journey to the centre of Stockholm.
