 The Royal Peacock Hotel is in a very good location and it is easy to get around Singapore from this point. Being in Chinatown also had its advantages as far as cheap eating and shopping goes. The only real down side to the hotel was the room had no windows but for the short time you spend in your room I guess it doesn't really matter. For the price I had no complaints and would suggest it to other travellers on a budget.- 29-Jun-2008 Very noisy at night, windows did not shut properly so traffic noise was a disturbance.
