 Windows not very good, noisy traffic, net curtains dirty, staircase dirty. Beds and towels lovely and clean, really comfy bed. Shame about the noise, if windows were better fitter, would probably help the noise levels
All in all very good stay, staff very friendly, breakfast excellent
- 06-Oct-2009 hotel run down and shabby. first room we were given smelled awful, so bad you could smell it from the corridor, given another room which was better but windows did not close so it was extremely noisy from the street all night. toilet seat broken and whole toilet bowl tipped forward when sat on. felt sorry for the staff who were all very nice but the hotel should have money spent on it quickly or be closed down. one night stay was more than enough.- 09-Jul-2009 Please note that the Station Hotel has ceased to exist and that this one is not on the Actual Station but a short walk out of the station.
