 This was a 5 star hotel located in the middle of the newer part of Shantou. I was glad to check into it, but its housekeeping left much to be desired. For example, the desk was sticky and the inserts about hotel facilities were left over from previous guest. However, the hotel was an improvement over the previous one that I had been in. Towel racks and laundry drying line located way above my head prectically out of reach.. The maid had to step on the bathtub rim to place the bath towel.
