The area is pretty dodgy, watch out at night. Good breakfastu can eat. All facilities are very basic. Some rooms are much better tghen others. NO English spearing staff!

centrally located and accessible to all means of public transportation. Staff does not speak aditional language. Scary at night with too many people living in the streets around.

Cheap hotel. Clean. Downtown location. Near Metro. The staff does not speak English. Good budget alternative. Please be aware some Portuguese or Spanish knowledge or at least a phrasebook is necessary for enjoying Sao Paulo.
