 the hotel is undergoing a refurbishing. We were treated very well and had a great room at the front, that had already been done. The bathroom is simple, but adequate. Airco is only on or off, but the view on Copacabana is great. I can imagine that rooms in the back aren't very interesting, but ours was spacey, very clean and inexpensive for what we got. - 23-Nov-2007 I can rate the Hotel only as 2 stars. Not knowing the type of rooms being provded, you are at risk. After arriving and seeing the size of the room, and you want it upgraded, it is not being allowed though you want to pay for the upgradation. Room was not locking and alternate room not being given. Please inform peopl who book on internet the services and size of the rooms before hand.- 31-Jan-2007 Fantastic ambiance in the lobby and restaurant.Serve very good buffet breakfast.The hotel allowed us to check in early as we arrived before 8am and gave us breakfast as well!
