 Very good location. - 15-Apr-2007 Stayed here a few years ago, an excellent hotel - right at the top of las ramblas and overlooking plaza de catalunya. Can be a bit noisy if you leave the windows open, but that may have been due to Barca beating Real Madrid! It's a weird entrance to the hotel, you go through a watch shop! But the staff spoke english and v.helpful. I left my clothes in the wardrobe by mistake, they sent them back to England. (admittedly i had to send them a cheque first, but at least they didn't lie that they had gone missing or something). Rooms were decent size, but if you ask for a room on the end then you get a massive room with a large bathroom.
only possible downside was no bar or breakfast (not that i remember anyway), not that you need one as you're next to the bars and restaurants in las ramblas. And also the piped music coming into the rooms in the morning was a bit odd!
