 Accommodation in Berlin is expensive, and it is hard to find reasonably priced central options, especially when travelling as a single. The Mark Apart Hotel was overpriced as a hotel, but probably OK value for Berlin. Facilities were pretty average - it had the basics, nothing more. Breakfasts were great - they were available until noon and the food was good. If I had a particular gripe it was that hammering, drilling and other assorted noises from work being done to the building woke me each morning at 7am. There was no reason given for this, apology, or even mention made of it. I would have thought that 9am was a better start time, and / or that room costs should have been considerably reduced to compensate for this inconvenience. But an OK, not brilliant, option.
