Located in the quiet village of Hinterzarten, the Maria Von Marschall Hotel is in the heart of the Black forest and close to the Freiburg and Titisee.

The hotel also provides favourable parking space for guests using their own modes of transportation. The hotel also has a terrace for clients to relax during the nice weather.
 This is a modest hotel, run by friendly people. Its decoration and furnishing are rather spartan. Its exterior walls could use a lick of paint. We couldn't help feeling that we had entered a medical facility, an impression reinforced by the "chief nurse" like dress of the receptionist. All in all, it was reasonable value for money, but the hotel lacks the cosy ambience that is so common among the smaller hotels in the Black Forest region.- 23-Aug-2007 |
