 Rooms were very dusty! Big balls of dust on the floor. Rooms were otherwise nice and were a great size. No aircon, but not noisy with windows open. - 28-May-2008 Hotel is located about a 10 minute walk from the main sites at the Hofburg. So location wise not too bad. Very disappointed with the continental breakfast as all that was supplied was a croissant or roll.... there was no fruit/yogurts/cereal offered. Male receptionist very helpful when we were trying to book concert tickets. The beds did not have mattresses on them as they were built into the lid of the bed and I found the springs were compressed and the bed very hard. Reception closed at 6pm most evenings and an emergency number left for people. The rooms were apartments which was handy. Other than that the hotel was fine.- 15-Mar-2008 Very average hotel/appartements. Nothing special. Facilities are pretty old and appartment we were in had very old kitchen and furniture. Bed was very uncomfortable. I am very skiny and I felt every spring in it. Breakfast is the same every day - croissant, butter, jam and coffe (very good coffe). The elivator only can hold one person, if you have some laggage you would need to make several trips. If you are long time traveler- they have free laundry.
Location is ok, by University, 15 to 20 min walk to Opera house. I would recomed to stay in these appartments if your budget is very low and you want to have some kitchen space. Otherwice, I would look for some other options. - 11-Jun-2007 |
