I was very happy with the hotels fine furnishings. The staff were very helpful. The room we stayed in was on the first floor at the corner which meant we had views out two sides of of the streets. Although a very busy street the rooms were completely silent as there were double windows. I would have no problems in returning there. The U station was right out side the door & most areas of site seeing interest are only a couple of stops away. - 09-Feb-2009 This was our first time in Vienna with our car so I was a little anxious about finding the hotel, unloading and parking and what would it be like inside? We found the the hotel without difficulty and although it is conveniently situated in a busy shopping area we were able to unload without difficulty. Parking is free on the weekends but the multistorey charges Euros 20 per 24 hours during the week - this is less than I have paid elsewhere. The grandeur of the entrance hall and reception area was a pleasure to admire and the room was also very suitable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Because of the location we were able to walk to the shops, the restaurants and the main buildings in the centre. The only fault was the excessive heat in the breakfast room!
- 04-Oct-2005 Very helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location for the underground rail system and the shops- 20-Dec-2004 |
