This hotel is centrally located, within easy reach of Auckland city, Sylvia Park and adjacent to the motorway. There is a good choice of food available in the restaurants and bars that are shared with the Novotel. We have enjoyed several stays in the Ibis and this time were upgraded to the Novotel which was also very pleasant.
- 06-May-2009 Noise from other hotel guests holding a party on the same floor kept me awake for a long time until I complained to Hotel Reception and asked for Security to intervene. This hotel is close to the Race Course and makes a point of advertising the fact, so I guess this is the type of clientele this hotel attracts. - 19-Jan-2009 Our greeting on arrival was non existent. No hello, no welcome, no smile - we went to our allocated rooms asking ourselves, "what was her problem"!
One order of "bar food" was very poor indeed. It was described as Asian snacks with dipping sauce. They were frozen, poor quality, packet dim sims and samosas -left largely uneaten by my travel companion. Best to keep the food fresh and simple.- 14-Jan-2009 |
