Holiday Club Kuusamo Tropiikki has 123 comfortable and high standard double rooms as well as two suites. There are holiday apartments in connection to the hotel, as well as by the lake, at about 50 meters from the main building.
Restaurant
The 450-seat restaurant enjoys fine views over both the tropical spa and the rugged and beautiful nature of Lake Petajalampi. The Holiday Club Kuusamo Tropiikki Arena includes a cosy Sports bar, where you are sure to find company each night. Here you can sit by the open fire and follow sports events by the large TV-screens.
General
Practical modern facilities, a wide range of leisure programmes and the surrounding wilderness nature together create a winning combination for memorable meetings and customer events. The traditional sauna department has an antique style steam bath, an old pine sauna and a sauna with terrace, which may be booked for private functions.

 Out of 8 nights that we stayed in this hotel, daily cleaning was skipped 3 times. The cleaning itself consisted of covering the bed with a blanket without even ordering it, no actual room "cleaning" at all. All the "more then 1000 tropical plants" in the hotel pool are plastic! Don't beleive the sign outside the hotel, which says "1.7 km to Kuusamo"! It is distant at least 5 km from the town and it will take you 2 hours to walk there in winter! Treatments are not bad, but make sure you book them 2 weeks before you arrive! I tried to book them 3 days before arrival and during the stay, but it was very complicated as SPA center doesn't give any priority to hotel guests. - 26-Mar-2007 |
