General
When staying at the Grapevine Hotel, you can conveniently visit the numerous tourist sights of London. London is also home to the Royal Family with fabulous Palaces and Pageantry. In addition, there are many beautiful gardens, parks, great museums and galleries, not to mention the glittering lights of Theatre land and London at night, all of which are easily accessible from the property.
 The room was miniscule, no bigger than a broom closet. I arrived friday evening, and was met by a very unfriendly receptionist. Asked to see the room before paying, but that was not possible. After I saw the room I requested an upgrade (was of course ready to pay for it), but that was not possible. The room was OK clean, a terrible smell came every time the room next door used their shower and/or sink. The toilet was not in the room, but was shared in the hall. And the toilet was very very dirty. It was impossible to open the suitcase anywhere but on the bed. I am never staying at that hotel again. I knew it wouldnt be a middleclass hotel, but didnt expect such a substandard accomodation.- 06-Jan-2009 |
