However, the fantastic location of the hotel made up for it. Being within walking distance of key sites such as the Forbidden City and Drum Tower was a major advantage. Moreover, the hotel was right next to the Wangfujing metro station, making it easily accessible and convenient for exploring the city.

One downside to this hotel was the old construction, which can be quite inconvenient for guests, especially when not properly notified beforehand.

We had a fantastic time at the Grand Hotel Beijing, staying for three nights. Sarah, one of the staff members, was incredibly helpful in organizing our trip to the Great Wall. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a short walk away from the Forbidden Palace, malls, and cafes. The bathroom was beautiful, and on clear days, we enjoyed a stunning view of the Forbidden City. The pool and gym were also spacious and well-maintained. The friendly staff made currency exchange a breeze, and the female concierge even went above and beyond to book our tickets for the Forbidden City.

Can recommend this hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by the historic charm and central location of this hotel. The foyers and tea area are absolutely lovely, and the views from the upper floors are stunning. Despite some minor inconveniences, the great rooms and service made up for it. The staff were friendly and spoke good English, which made communication easy. Plus, being within walking distance of the Forbidden City and great shopping was a huge plus. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Here, we had the most luxurious experience with exclusive amenities. the Spa centre is exceptional. the service is outstanding, especially in the private facilities. the Bar/Lounge area is fantastic with an exotic collection of wines and a great view.

There's a minor issue with the noise from the outside that can disturb sleep at times. Nonetheless, the Jacuzzi is fantastic with maximum room advantages.

Great central location close to key tourist sites and amenities. Rooms were fairly well decorated and spacious. the staff was very accommodating and helpful in planning. Check-in and check-out were quite efficient and fast.

Bathroom plumbing was a mess. the water pressure and temperature was unpredictable and very difficult to manage.
