the galle face hotel is an excellent colonial-style property right on the beachfront, which made it perfect for watching the sunset with a refreshing drink. the seafront swimming pool is truly picturesque, and the breakfast spread was fantastic. the staff were friendly, respectful, and super helpful, making our 3-night stay very enjoyable.

While the hotel's charm is undeniable, the service on the Verandah fell short of expectations during high tea, and the treatment at Fire Beach regarding bringing a small cupcake left a negative impression.

From the moment I arrived, I felt like royalty! ! Walking through the grand colonial halls was like stepping back in time—every detail just oozes pure luxury! The food at the buffet was incredible, with so many dishes to choose from, and the views from the bar above the beach were BREATHTAKING!

Sure, it wasn’t exactly cheap, but honestly, it felt worth it for the experience.
