 i had been worried about the distance from the historic centre but the hotel staff were so reasurring about travel and gave me the bus timetables. we loved the room - my daughter and i- and i will definitely come back here with my husband. breakfast was excellent and i did like the fruit bread. The breakfast staff were very hard pressed as there was so many of us but they worked so fast and efficiently that queues soon moved quickly as well.
but Star quality showers in our room - loved the needle jets. reception ordered our taxi for 5.30. am and there it was - no worries about getting home. yes liked this hotel very much.ghent is a lovely place . We had gone for the British Vision Art display in the first instance but we will be back as there seems so much to see and do and there are excellent shops and cafes and superb food speciality places.
