Clean comfortable rooms, although AC in one of our rooms temperamental. Gym is not as good as it first looks. Cycle machines not working, but weight machines okay. Running machines showing their age, but who needs one with Central Park on your doorstep ! Reception staff not overtly friendly, but helpful enough when asked for help. Excellent location in a quiet area, close to Central Park, beside Natural History Museum. Close to Subway with good access to rest of Big Apple. Overall good value, and as good as many more expensive hotels. A good base, with easy access to all sights and attractions.- 25-Oct-2008 We booked a double deluxe room...they call it a suite. But the rooms are very cramped especially the bathroom. Good cleaning service every day. Expensive hotel for the quality of rooms and facilities. Located close to central park but a 25 mins taxi ride to down town.- 11-Sep-2008 For a 16 story hotel, two ancient and slow elevators is a drawback. The elevators are my only complaint. - 01-Aug-2008 |
