The Embassy Hotel is located in the historical and commercial centre of Rome, not far from Via Veneto, Via Borghese and the Termini Railway Station. The hotel is easily reachable from most of the historical and artistic points of interest such as the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.

General
The hall is characterised by a white classical arch that leads to a comfortable lounge reserved to guests, finely decorated with two beautiful mosaics in Roman Architectural Style, which reminds of the Imperial Age. Central location, courtesy of the staff and comfortable atmosphere will ensure a pleasant stay in the heart of Rome.

 After reading poor reviews about many other hotels, i wasn't expecting this one to be very good but overall i was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, nice and quiet and we could put luggage in a store until our room was ready.
On the downside, the breakfast was basic : cereal (2 choices), yoghurt, bread, coffee and juice (not real orange juice though)
and there was no tea and coffee facilities in the room.
There didn't appear to be any other facilities either.
Location was good, managed to walk everywhere except for the Vatican but the bus did run from around the corner which was good.
Would use this hotel again.- 25-Nov-2004 Quite basic, but the price reflects that. It is well situated, and the room was clean, comfortable and had good en suite facilities, hair dryer, mini-bar (soft drinks and beer) and safe. Apert from that there is a reception (always staffed) and a lift. Breakfast is just coffee and croissants and yoghurt.
