 This Hotel is behind another one which fronts the main street and you must register via the front hotel. Quite old but cosy enough. Central location is helpful.- 01-Jul-2009 Booked 1 twin, 1 triple for one night (touring) Accepted reduced-price on triple which gave us really spacious suite. Attractive rooms with some character and good bathroom, tho toilet handle came apart and management unable to send repairman--DIY solution with string worked ok. Carpets threadbare, building needs tlc in places-- but for me the greatest comfy bed of 3 week tour of Canada. I was sorry to leave it. Others in party slept badly, counting trains all night, maybe down to strong coffee too late! Driftwood is Annex to rather grander Ptarmigan next door where you can use facilities but we had no time.
