 The hotel is a former palace and retains much of its past grandeur. It is literally next door to St Peter's and so is as central as one can get to the Vatican. Excellent breakfast in glorious hall or outside if sunny. Helpful and friendly staff. For the price this was nothing short of EXCELLENT.- 14-Sep-2009 This excellent hotel is located near the Vatican and only a 15 minute walk to the Spanish steps with ATMs close by. The hotel is on old palace - the rooms are large, and the bathrooms modern in a classic style. Everything was very clean. The decor is simple - ideal given the historical nature of the building. The staff are highly professional, very helpful and the reception staff all speak very good English.
