Coffs Harbour

Coffs Harbour, Australia, is a major coastal resort town, famous for its fishing and its bananas. It's location on Australia's east coast, part way between Sydney and Brisbane, gives it an ideal climate; in summer or winter the maximum temperature rarely falls below 19 degrees Celsius. Coffs Harbour was discovered by Captain James Korff in 1847 when he sought shelter from a wild storm. He named it Korff's Harbour and this was later changed, due to accident, to Coffs Harbour.
