Smooth stay with a stunning view

Check-in was a breeze, and my room offered a breathtaking view of the river. The coffee and snacks on the second floor were delightful, and the staff’s warmth made me feel welcome.

Honestly, my experience was quite frustrating. The TV in the room didn’t work properly, making it impossible to relax after a long day. To make matters worse, the awkward positioning of the shower head and sink faucet left me battling for comfort during my showers. On top of that, there was also a noticeable lack of cleanliness, with remnants of previous guests left under the bed—definitely not the standard I expected. Overall, these issues overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay.

The location is simply unbeatable, right by the river with easy access to the architecture boat tour. I find myself just steps away from fantastic restaurants and bars. A short walk leads me to Millennium Park, making it ideal for my business needs. The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive, effortlessly resolving any issues I encounter.

The only downside is the elevator system can be a bit inefficient during peak hours.

Utilize the complimentary self-service laundry to save on packing, and remember to check your room for amenities like a microwave and fridge for convenience.

We enjoyed an excellent location right by the river, making it super easy to explore the river walk. The room was clean and comfortable, with a great coffee maker ready for our morning brews. Plus, we appreciated the $25 meal vouchers for the nearby Land and Lake Restaurant, which was an added perk.

shocking to see so many issues packed into one stay. the tv didn’t work at all, yet the staff insisted I needed instructions, and the room was unbearably warm with a broken thermostat. I expected a room upgrade for the inconvenience, but alas, no preferential treatment for me. I almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

The hotel is in a fantastic spot, and we visited the Art Institute and the Millennium Park easily. It’s nice to know they cater to guests with disabilities too. The staff was helpful, and they had complimentary snacks all day. The "wine at five" was a fun touch!
