 The staff was great, and the lobby was very well done. A lot of interesting history and memorabilia left from this converted cinema.
The rooms were standard for Tel Aviv (and close to what you'll find in Europe). (If you go in there expecting the size and amenities of an American style hotel, you will be disappointed.)
We only stayed one night and were in a room near the dining room (which was pretty noisy)... Be sure to request a room on a higher floor to avoid the noise.- 18-Mar-2009 The concept of a Bauhaus cinema cleverly converted to a hotel complete with original artefacts is interesting; we loved the sweeping marble staircase. The location although very central is also very noisy if you have a room facing Dizengoff Circus which is a busy road. The other down side is that although there is no smoking in the hotel, each room has a balcony on which guests can smoke, the door to the balcony (room 104), was not a great fit hence smoke permeated the room. Breakfast was one of the best that we have eaten in Israel. Overall 6/10.- 07-Jan-2009 Great place to stay.. Sumptuous breakfast was complemented by outdoor decking and afternoon tea..
