The Continental breakfast was poor with only cereals, juice, rolls, croissants jam or marmalade and tea or coffee, it was extra for the chefs Continental breakfast which included cold meats, cheeses and yogurts. Also for the first time at any hotel I've stayed in there was no left luggage facility - 02-Jun-2009 I was very surprised when I experienced that they had no possibility to take care of my suitcase the day I left. This is absolutely the first time I have experienced that, even in very small hotels they have this service.- 01-May-2009 We stayed at the Central Park Hotel for just one night between flights. Although the room was small it was amazing value for money. It was clean and newly decorated with excellent ensuite facilities and in-room coffee and tea making facilities. Our room was airy, air conditioned and overlooked the street below. The continental breakfast in the morning was more than adequate and there was an optional buffet cooked breakfast. The location is excellent between Bayswater and Lancaster Gate tube stations - about 3-4 minutes walk to either. The hotel is right by Hyde Park / Kensington Gardens and is a five minute walk to Queensway, Bayswater with it's numerous pubs and reasonably priced cafes. We love this area and would not hesitate to stay there again, although for a longer stay prefer the slightly higher priced Corus Hotel which is just along the road.- 10-Jul-2008 |
