 it is a nice hotel with excellent staff and is tastefully decorated and serves a wonderful breakfast. the only negatives are the u-bahn station which must be passed through a square which is populated by drunks and low-lifes and the lack of air-conditioning which means it can get hot during the night.- 03-Jul-2006 A good hotel well postioned for cheap Easyjet flights from the UK to Schonefeld Airport at the end of the 171 bus route. The bus leaves from outside the airport, the terminus Hermannplatz is across the road from the Hotel. The staff are very helpful and most speak good English. The breakfasts are superb served in the rooftop restaurant. Direct U-Bahn services to Central Berlin go from the station adjacent to the Hotel. - 30-Sep-2004 Good location by the U7/U8 U-Bahn for easy access to the rest of Berlin, and close to shops and the Karstadt store.
