 I expected that there should be some toiletries provided like cotton bud and shampoo, but were absent. Housekeeping not attentive in topping up some stuff. There seems to be only 2 breakfast menus that they alternate. A disappointment from the Baiyoke group. Seems like other hotels are more superior in amenities compared to this. Not all staff were able to converse well in English, making it difficult for tourists.- 01-Dec-2008 Excellent location particularly if you are a shopper.But shoppers too wish to relax and thogh there is a large amount of space available there are no facilities for relaxation.No bars,Music,lobby area not well utilised,no adequate seating arrangements.Housekeeping is very bad and cleaning has to be requested,and then too job is not well done.Service is also not upto acceptable levels.Though you cannot accept five star comfort for this price Hotel should pay attention to basic needs of resident.Food was good and reasonably priced.- 22-Nov-2008 Rooms had a musk smell, the hallway smelt of amonia(wee). The Decore is very outdated. The pillows were so large we had sore necks after using them.
The location is very busy with thr markets down stairs & having to wade through crowds just to get away from the hotel wasn't pleasant.
The breakfast was good.
The staff were very helpful.
The pool was a good place to relax away from the heat & the crowds.
Suggestion is you're going to here from the airport, get the hotel name in Thai (I wish HotelClub would have provided this) as there's 3 Baiyoke hotels & they'll automatically dump you several blocks away & the Sky. Also ask for a Meter Taxi & take the Toll road. It will be under 300Bt (including tolls & 50bt airport tax). - 05-Nov-2008 |
