 We had one of the newer rooms which was fantastic! A double bed each, TV, Bathroom, etc! The view wasn't great, boarded up windows across the street, but if you aren't bothered about the view then it's a fab hotel! The breakfast had lots of choice too!- 19-Aug-2009 Ideal for Glasgow city centre, 100 yds from central station & the night life in the city.
Room was fine with tea/coffee/biscs supplied.
Breakfast was good with good hot food 7.30 to 10am.
All staff were helpful with 24 hr reception. Signs off renovations taken place, Our room was clean large & ideal , We would use this again. Parking on road side after 18.30 pm to 8.0am plenty of carparks in short walking distance.- 22-Jul-2009 after reading other reviews on this hotel i was slightly concerned but didnt have time to be fussy as it was only for 1 night. I have to say some people need to get a grip on reality. When you are paying £40 a night you cant be too fussy. i have to say for the money the staff were so friendly my room was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent. Ok so im not going to lie there were stains on the carpet but the likes on coke stains, now the hotel cannot replace the carpets everytime they get some lager lout sloshing their juice all over the place.
All in it is excellent value for money, in a good central location with extremly friendly staff.
I would definately go back the next time im in the city.
