 A very pleasant place to stay. Far enough away from the CBD to be quiet and close to gardens and a wonderful War Memorial. Only a half hour walk to the city and we are in our 70s.
Manager is fantastic and went out of his way to rectify MY mistake at no cost to me. Well worth a mention as he was a real gem.- 24-Oct-2008 Had booked a standard room but was given upgrade to deluxe room.
Room was spacious, very clean, serviced daily...staff were helpful ,
location brilliant ..tram stops at doorway or 15 minutes walk along parks and gardens to Flinders Street, Yarra river, city centre.
Would reccommend to anyone wanting reasonably priced accommodation...with a touch of the classic, old world charm- 16-Mar-2008 Very small room which needs updating,specially the bed. As we don't mind a walk, the centre of Melbourne is not that far. Friendly staff.- 26-Jan-2008 |
